About Us

Qualified, Experienced Team of Caring Professionals

Conveniently located approximately four miles east of Chetek and central to Rice Lake and Eau Claire, WI.   We are easily accessible for clients from the St Paul and Minneapolis area with close proximity to Hwy 8 and Hwy 53.  NALWC sits on a picturesque 69 acres divided by Moose Ear Creek. There is a balance of woods and open land, suitable for pasturing large animals while providing an aesthetic, yet practical, environment for the training and care of all animals.  While our primary focus is on dogs, cats and horses, we love animals of all sizes and shapes. Our goal is to create a relaxed environment. We take pride in our ability to create customized programs for all guests as a means to help them reach their full potential.  Because our days are filled with activities revolving around the needs of the animals, we require and appreciate appointments. At any given time, we may be out on walks, bike rides, in training sessions, or attending to the needs of the animals or maintenance of the property.  Please feel free to contact us to set up a visit with us and learn more!

Dog Training Programs

Jana LoggheJana Logghe is a member of the IACP and ADPT.  Working   with animals is not just a job, but a lifestyle for her.  She   has a strong interest in behavioral problems and is committed to helping dogs and their owners establish a   balanced relationship.  Jana excels with behavior issues,   obedience, socialization, manners, and puppy   development as well.  She completed an intense and   extensive program to receive certification as a Canine   Behavior & Training Specialist from Triple Crown Dog Academy in Hutto, TX.  Since that time, she has helped hundreds of dogs and their humans.  She has also dedicated herself to helping shelter dogs find forever homes. Her passion and experience has changed and literally saved the lives, of many dogs!  Despite the level of daily hands on experience she gains, Jana is devoted to continue her education.  Whether going across country to attend workshops or networking with other trainers, she continues to seek out ways to improve the partnership between pets and their owners.

Horsemanship Programs

Roberta DzimielaRoberta Dzimiela has spent several years training horses and giving private and group horsemanship lessons. She has been influenced by horsemen such as Tom Dorrance and Joe Wolter. When training full time, her personal interest was colt starting and working with “problem” horses. A horse named Holly inspired her to redefine which direction she wanted to go with horses. Her goal is to continue learning all she can from the greatest teachers; the horses themselves, and to share her experiences with as many people as she can.
